No question, a classic spike looks great. If you are already experienced in weaving hair and want more variety, you can try these three variants of the classic herringbone braid.

Partial herringbone braid
In this modification of the braided hairstyle, you only work with the top hair: First pull it back like a ponytail to get a feeling for how much hair you have to take for the "half" braid hairstyle. Then concentrate on the left side, divide the top hair into two parts, cut off a thin strand on the right and lay it in the middle. Then do the same with the left side and braid the herringbone braid so that it is tight against the head.

As soon as the left half of the top hair is fully braided, attach the braid with a hair tie or a hair clip so that the herringbone pattern does not dissolve.
